To keep everyone on track with our progress, we’re sending another reminder that our brief “break in the action” writing for Gallagher’s Pen’s posts is nearing its close. Lord willing, we’ll be back home and ‘on track’ with a fresh post to be sent your way next Saturday morning, May 9th.
As I write this reminder, I’m a bit unsure just yet whether we’ll reach back to immediately pick up on our “Wilderness” series. It may depend on how God directs the focus of our attention during our time in those New Testament places that we’ve read about, taught about, sang about, and imagined for more decades than I care to count. Regardless, Diane and I are already excited to think about coming home more energized and well equipped than ever to engage in the mission we’ve been given.
Once again, we’re hoping that you will pray that we’ll be able to look back and see this Gospel adventure we’ve embarked on as an investment whose rewards far exceed the sacrifices involved. And as you pray, please ask the Holy Spirit to make His directions clear, His presence unmistakable, and His power irresistible. We also encourage any of you who have questions or comments you’d like to share, to please use the comments section (‘Share Your Thoughts’) below. We may be a bit delayed in getting back to you, but we will definitely respond as soon as we can get back and settled.
Until then, may the grace of our loving Father attend to every need you have and fill you with both unquenchable love and defiant joy.
