What a great time of year this is! Even with all its challenges and inevitable disappointments, the Christmas season remains one of the grandest opportunities we have to highlight and celebrate the most significant birth that ever took place in human history. Acknowledging that profound event in some way is a part of our heritage not only as Christians, but as Americans. In spite of the oppositional influence of the anti-Christian crowd, the confusing distortions that fictional characters create, and the distracting clamor of commercial opportunists, for most of us, Jesus is still the heart of this season. All that mental and visual clutter can’t obscure the joy that Jesus’ coming brings to those of us who serve Him, and sharing it with one another this time of year seems to enhance it even more.

High on nearly everyone’s list of favorite Christmas traditions is sharing special things with those we love, and the Gallagher’s Pen team is no different. We want to share something with our treasured readers that is special to us and that we hope may be a source of blessing and encouragement for you.
